We welcome part-time compassionate Night Duty Personal Care Worker (PCW) with a positive attitude to join our rural team at our Homestead Estate Home located in Wallington, Geelong.

Situated in Wallington on the Bellarine Peninsula, Homestead Estate is set in an idyllic rural location with views to the surrounding countryside. 

With 190 beds, Homestead Estate has recently completed an extensive renovation to introduce a unique range of services and facilities.

We can provide onsite accommodation during your consecutive shifts.

Hours of work

• Night Duty
• Week 1: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs
• Week 2: Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat

What you’ll love to do

• Ensure resident hygiene and safety as a priority
• Support the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of residents
• Provide the best person-centred care 
• Work collaboratively with members of the care team 
• Facilitate ongoing communication with different stakeholders 
• Accurately report any issues and concerns

What you’ll need

• Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing)
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards  
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses) 
• 2024 influenza vaccination 
• NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance) 
• Eligibility to work in Australia
